Dr. Abbott is a board-certified psychiatrist with over two decades of continuous clinical practice across community mental health, psychiatric emergency medicine, residential treatment, and private practice settings. He completed his psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center, one of the largest public academic medical centers in the United States, where he testified in conservatorship hearings, involuntary medication hearings, and immigration proceedings.

Conflicts Review & Consultation

Dr. Abbott will review the inquiry for conflicts and case fit. If available and interested, he will respond to discuss the matter briefly before engagement is confirmed.

Retainer Agreement

Upon agreement to engage, a retainer agreement will be sent for electronic signature. An advance retainer is required before work commences.

Records & Review

Records are transmitted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant file transfer link. All consultations and communications are conducted via secure videoconference by default.
